We had such a nice time sitting down last week with senior writer John Downs of Main Street. During the interview we learned that John has attended several events here that are very near and dear to his heart. The first being his daughter Erin’s wedding and the other the 1st Inaugural Miss Abilities Chesapeake Pageant where his daughter Amy competed in April of 2015. We hear she has already begun practicing for this year’s competition which will again take place here at the Chesapeake Conference Center on April 24 @ 6:00 pm.
We are always happy to hear positive reports from those that have attended an event here. Especially when it comes to something as important as a proud and happy father dancing with his little girl on her wedding day or competing for the title such as Miss Abilities.
