April Speaker – Virginia Wesleyan head men’s basketball coach, Dave Macedo

The 2016-17 campaign marks Dave Macedo’s 17th season at the helm of the Virginia Wesleyan men’s basketball program. He is only the fourth head coach in the 41-year history of the men’s basketball program.

Macedo has guided the Marlins to a 359-115 record with a 206-66 mark in ODAC play. He led the Marlins to 11 straight NCAA tournaments, from 2004-05 to 2014-15, one of the longest streaks in NCAA Division III history.
