The City of Chesapeake will hold its 8th annual Mayor’s Breakfast to Honor Veterans at 8:00 a.m., September 17, 2016, at the Chesapeake Conference Center.  This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Alton L. Stocks, RADM (Retired) USN, Interim President and CEO, Chesapeake Regional Healthcare.  Please join Mayor Alan Krasnoff in this annual tribute to our Veterans. The event offers opportunity for fellowship, while honoring the service and many sacrifices of our military service members, past and present.
The Mayor’s Breakfast to Honor Veterans is organized by the Mayor’s Commission of Veterans Affairs. The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the mayor and makes recommendations concerning issues related to city policies and laws that affect veterans. The Commission’s goal is to honor veterans and show public appreciation to those who actively serve or have served our nation.
