Chesapeake First Citizen Awards

The Chesapeake Rotary Foundation is proud to present the
Banquet and Presentation of the 2025 First Citizen of Chesapeake Award to Robert G. MacDonald.

The Chesapeake First Citizen Award is presented annually to an outstanding individual who best exemplifies the spirit of
citizenship and who has shown significant leadership in enhancing the quality of life in our City. The selection committee, comprised of former First Citizens, strives to select an individual who has adhered to the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self”.
