VenuWorks of Chesapeake L.L.C. and Chesapeake Conference Center was pleased to present a check to Hero Kids Foundation as they were the winner of the Royal Raffle at the annual Princess Ball on February 13, 2022. Princess ball is a daddy daughter dance in celebration of little girls in an afternoon of special bonding with their fathers. 10 children’s charities from the Hampton Roads region received a royal invitation to the ball to be our guests. There was a royal raffle at the end of the event in which one children’s charity was chosen by one of the little princesses in attendance. The Hero Kids Foundation’s aim is to provide a multidisciplinary approach to promote and support Military & First Responders children, together with the whole family, utilizing animal-assisted therapies along with nature based activities. We strive on building hope, confidence, and self-worth.
